Approver rejecting Performance Document moved by HR Admin

Hi All,

We have the following steps in the Performance Documents:

  • Employee self-evaluation
  • Manager evaluation
  • Reviewer approval
  • Share Performance Document

 

Admin has moved the documents which was pending with Manager/Reviewer's approval to Share Performance document(not complete). The reviewer had notification for the approval and are now able to reject the document from the notification. When it is rejected, it goes back to manager evaluation from the Share Performance Document. I believe the system should throw an error that approver cannot act on the performance document as it is not pending with the approver.  Can you please let me know if anyone has faced this issue and if there are any workaround for this.
