Is it possible to create an approval rule based on a performance document name or type?

Summary

Is it possible to create an approval rule based on a performance document name or type?

Content

Hi experts,

I am trying to determine if it's possible to create a performance document approval rule that utilizes if/then/else logic to route approvals in different ways for specific performance documents (example: PIP document vs. Annual  Review document). Basically, if the document type equals a certain value then trigger XYZ approval, else trigger ABC approval.

Many thanks in advance for any insight provided!
