When you get a job, you see a published job advert for an approved open headcount, you apply, you go through some steps, get hired, onboard, etc.
But what if you want to work at an organisation that's running ORC for their recruitment, but only for ad-hoc engagements? A few hours here, a few hours there, on an irregular basis?
Do you as the candidate have to go through all of those steps, actually apply for a job when all you've been asked to do is turn up to do some after dinner speaking?
