Performance document Due Dates Wrong

Hello Everyone!
I have already assigned performance documents out to the company, only to realize that the Due Dates in the Document Period section were changed to the wrong date. I was able to change them back to the correct date, however this is not flowing out to the existing Performance documents that were already assigned.
Is there any way to do this so the documents reflect the correct date? I want the alerts/critical alerts to go out.
