Competencies are not showing in the PD for Past Years - Model Profiles based on Employee Job

We need to build some test cases to show the past performance history of employees in the PD. I created the model profile based on employee jobs recently. But the competencies are taking only for this year 2019/2020 since I created the job profile recently. The competencies are not showing in the PD for past years like 2018/2019 and 2017/2018. Is there any effective data issue when creating Model Profiles ? Has anyone come through this ?
