How to get the sums of the last rows from one or several tables?

Hello,

I have a challenge for the reporting experts around here :-)

I have several custom objects with, in essence, these fields:

Object A:
- person
- date
- amount

Object B:
- person
- date
- amount

There can be several rows for a given person and a given date, with different amounts.

I need a report that would display this:
1 - person
2 - from object A: last date for this person
3 - from object A: sum of the amounts for this person and this last date
4 - from object B: last date for this person
5 - from object B: sum of the amounts for this person and this last date
