What is the purpose of the Upgrade Goals Scheduled Process?

Summary

The Upgrade Goals scheduled process is available in the scheduled processes. We're wondering when and how we should use it.

Content

Hello All -

What is the purpose of the Upgrade Goals scheduled process?  I see the description, "Updates Goal Management data to make it available in redesigned responsive Goal Management application" but am unsure if this is something that needs to be run once or scheduled - and whether it applies to customers who used goal management prior to adopting the Responsive UI.

Thanks in advance.
