20A Talent Navigation for My Teams

Having issues with enabling the new My Team --> Career & Performance Icon in 20AContent
In 20A, managers will have a new icon within the My Teams tab called Career & Performance. I have enabled the icon through sandbox structure and made everything visible, as well as followed the instructions in this documentation that managers need to manually add the icon. However managers are not able to see the new icon.
Has anyone done this or had the same problems and resolved them? We're using 20A in our test environment. Thanks
