Benefits --Rates based on dependents coverage

Summary

Benefits --Rates based on dependents coverage

Content

We have employees whose spouse is  also employed in a different company. The spouse is eligible to enroll in benefits plans in the place where they work. We are looking at an option to manage rates based on the dependents benefits eligibility at their work place. The employee will be entitled for a discount if the spouse is not working or the work place of the spouse doesn't offer benefits.

How is this managed during open enrollment?

is it managed prior to enrollment  and were the employees tagged prior to enrollment?

If we want to enable it in real time during OE, how did you manage it? did you create additional options or is there is a better approach?
