SummaryScheduled report sending Excel opens with warning
We have a really simple report that is scheduled to run once daily. The report contains only 3 columns (1 datetime, 2 short text fields). When the schedule runs it attaches the report as an Microsoft Excel document and emails it to the designated person fine, however the issue is with accessing the attachment. When you attempt to open the attached file in excel you get the warning "The file format and extension of "file name" don't match. The file could be corrupted or unsafe." clicking "yes" allows you to open the file, but we are sending this file to people that are hesitant on opening a file that excel has deemed as "unsafe". Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a way to resolve this within service cloud?
