Ability to add a custom button or hyperlink on delivered SaaS pages to navigate a user into a custom VBCS page. We ask that the button/deeplink supports the following:

• Passing parameters to pages within the VBCS application
• Calling REST Endpoints

Use Case and Business Need

Current Workaround - Retrieve custom Person Number use case when hiring an employee:

• HTML markup and Javascript
  • Display a field and button on the Hire an Employee page that on-click calls a REST API to retrieve a Person Number from a custom table in DBCS
  • Person Number is the input value for the field
