Can you deploy a DFF field to show only in the Performance Goal and not Development Goals

Hi

Can you please advise if it is possible to deploy a DFF to a Performance Goal only and not to a Development Goal.  my client would like a new lookup to be defined within the Performance Goals form but does not want the DFF showing when creating a development goal, is this at all possible. 

Any help appreciated.
