Summary

Purpose of creating two contract numbers as part of Negotiation

Content

Hi Guys,

Can someone help me understand the purpose of creating two contract numbers as part of single negotiation.

We are trying to create Negotiation through Requisition and also creating contracts and PO as part of it.

While doing so at first we create contract under contract terms tab. Contract Number(1) gets generated.

And while awarding the supplier we have an option called Add Contract. Contract Number(2) gets generated and we add negotiation lines to contract after completing award.

When we go to contracts homepage and query these two contracts we see Contract Number(2) got all the details from RFP and other Contract Number(1) being blank for all most all of the fields. Both were linked to same negotiation document and both contracts are in Draft Status,

Howdy, Stranger!
