Check-In Notes & Manager Transfers
Summary
Can check-in notes be live with the record and carry forward when a manager transfer is made?Content
Hello ~
20B - When an employee/manager enter notes and comments under Check-In area (Career and Performance) and the employee transfers to a new manager, the legacy history is lost. I.e. the new manager is not able to view the previous manager/employee comments. The employee has to create a new check-in under the new manager and start fresh.
Is there a way to capture and report on the legacy check-in notes somewhere within the data tables? Ideally, we would expect all notes made to carry forward so the new manager could review the prior history and conversations discussed. This would be very helpful in terms of performance improvement or for high potentials with development plans.
