We are learning from our LATAM countries that they have only done offer letters after the background check is processed. However, we want to validate that this is a legal standard across companies and not something that is just a best practice for for our company based on historical practices. We also want to understand if it’s a better way to do this work.
Secondly, we also want to validate the type of background check processes are actually required. We have learned about a number of physical checks – medical, polygraph, home visits, etc. We want to know if other companies are doing these checks as well.
