Override all benefit elements to zero just for one pay period for about 900 employees
Summary
We want to update or override all our benefit rates to 0 just for one weekly payroll for about 900 employeesContent
Hi!
For payroll year 2020, we have calculated the number of pay periods for our weekly employees as 52. But we now realize that our payroll calendar has 53 pay periods for our hourly population this year as our last pay check date for 2020 changed to 12/31/2020 as 1/1/2021 is a bank holiday. All our 2020 premiums medical, dental and so on were calculated for 52 pay periods.
Is there a way we can make sure the premiums are not deducted from the 53rd paycheck for the hourly employee? We have to keep in mind that we would have had 2021 Open enrollment processed for all employees at that time. Are element overrides for a bulk population possible using a spreadsheet loader? Any suggestions / ideas is greatly appreciated!
