Is there a way to hide / remove the limit and order options for a report?

Need to be able to limit the number of records that an agent can see with a blank search using a custom contacts quick searchContent
The quick search is useful to agents but we want a way to limit the number of results the agent could access with a blank search. We could create separate quick searches for 'first name' , 'Last name' and 'email address' and then make an entry mandatory, but a more elegant solution if possible is to simply limit the results to say 10 maximum for all search results.
I have created a copy of the quick search and edited it to limit to 10 results, this works but if the agent clicks on the search icon (or filters in BUI) they can then see the 'limit and order' options and simply change the values.
