Import HTML code into Rich Text User Defined Field using TCC

edited Dec 13, 2022 6:45AM in Taleo Enterprise 3 comments

Summary

I have a need to import formatted text into a user defined field on the requisition template. Is there is way to configure a processing step to tell TCC the data has HTML code?

Content

We are building a requisition template import to do a net change on requisition templates. All the fields are updating / creating as expected, except for our user defined fields for additional descriptions. The issue is the field text on the feed includes HTML markups.

We have the fields created and can manually input the HTML code to get the desired effect; however, when we try to import the text, TCC wants to import it as standard text. The individual record fails due to the character limit is exceeded, or imports the HTML as standard text.

Howdy, Stranger!
