Summary

Flex spending account per-pay amount is automatically getting recalculated when the employee does not make any change to it

Content

When a new life event is created for an employee who has a flex spending account, we noticed that the flex spending account per-pay amount is automatically getting recalculated when the employee does not make any change to it.  In fact, in the example below, the employee used the Change Beneficiary life event which is one that they do not even have the ability to change the flex spending account amount (it is intentionally greyed out for them).  It seems like the annual coverage amount for flex spending accounts are automatically getting recalculated as of the new life event effective
