New Hire after open enrollment period ends - How do you enroll them for the new year's benefits?

If the open enrollment period has ended and then you have a new hire how do you run an open enrollment event for a person so HSA can be elected?


Our open enrollment period was 10/26 - 11/9, we have a new employee as of 11/16.  They went through and elected their 2020 benefits through the new hire event and now need to make elections for 2021 through the open enrollment event.  I evaluated the Open event and it updates the medical rates to show 2021 rates but does not allow for the administrator to make elections for the person so they can have a different medical plan and HSA.  The person should have the option to pick a different medical plan and their HSA stops at the end of the year
