Summary

I have one small compute instance, with minimal linux, why does my boot volume have to be so large?

Content

I am surprised that minimum boot volume size is 50GB, this is not very useful, when I run 1 minimum size compute instance with linux, whole thing is few hundred MB at most, and boot volume is forced to be minimum 50GB. Did i overlook anything? Did i miss anything? I do not need to get charged for block storage on volume than I not used and will never be used...

Howdy, Stranger!
