If you delete a grade in Core HR, do you still need to delete the grade from eligibility profiles?

Hi,
If you delete a grade in Core HR, do you still need to delete the grade from eligibility profiles e.g. goal plan eligibility or performance document eligibility? Or are they automatically removed?
