How to Set Reject Comments Mandate for Email Approvals

BPM Task (FinApInvoiceApproval) > Configuration
Approval Pre-conditions > Mandate Comments before updating these outcomes > REJECT: Required
is working fine for In-App approval Notifications.

But it's not validating the user comments (REJECT: Required) while Rejecting in Email.

We checked the below note:
Why Email Notification Approve Button Takes Employee To Drafting A Mail? (2546180.1)
There is an option to add the comments but the user can also APPROVE/REJECT without comments as well.

Please Advise.
