Unconfirmed Job Applications Despite Autoconfirmation Config Enabled

Hi community,

 

We have the configuration set to allow for autoconfirmation of applications, however we are noticing recently there are some job applications populating the "Unconfirmed" section, and require the action to confirm the application. Once our recruiters select the action to confirm, there is no issue, however it is the candidate's only existing application in our system, in most cases, therefore should this automatically confirm their application?

 

Thoughts? Similar experiences? Obvious documentation identifying this behavior that I have overlooked?!
