TCC - Help! Need to know filters to pull open jobs only

Hi All,

I know just about nothing when it comes to TCC so hopefully my questions are fairly simple for you experts to answer. 

We are modifying a script for an integration to a job board that uses a XML feed. We've had this integration running for a while with the filters below (this was created by someone no longer at the company). However, I'm noticing that filled/closed/canceled jobs are appearing on here when we only need open/posted jobs (posted to the external career section only). 

I'm hoping someone can help me with the following:

1 - What do these filters mean / what do they do?
