How to reset Inception to Date Balance once an element entry is paid.

Hi,

Let's say I have an employee that has some credits to pay back in Negative Earnings.

I have an element where Payroll log the total amount to be paid by the employee and the amount to be taken per pay period.

I have a balance attached to that element with Inception to Date dimension, and I am using that dimension in a fast formula for some calculation.

The only concern is that the Inception to Date balance doesn't reset automatically once the total amount owed on this element entry is reached.

Is there a way to reset a balance dimension to 0 through a fast formula or something so that if the employee gets the same element added again to his element entries in the same calendar year, the balance is at 0 and not accumulating?

Howdy, Stranger!
