Fast formula to access a Payroll Element for the Coverage doesnt pick up the Element as required

In our requirment,we need to add the 'Commission-US' element entries of the last 12 months and add it to Annual salary to calculate the Coverage for the Employee.

I tried getting that using this fast formula and temporarily hardcoded the start and end dates but despite the fact that there is an Element Entry in the period,its not getting picked by the fast formula.

PFA the Fast formula and let me know where there is an issue in the coding to calculate the values.
