Employee Not Found in Person Management but found in Security Console

I have an associate that I can locate using Security Console, and verify that the profile is active and the role was auto-applied, however, when I search for this person in Person Management, I get no results found. I have tried changing dates, including terminated work relationships, name search and id number search, all to no avail. This appears to be the only recently-hired person that I am encountering this issue with. Does the community have any advice as to how I should proceed before it becomes necessary to open an SR?
