Summary

Benefit deductions should only be withheld from eligible assignments, not all assignments.

Content

Employees may have multiple assignments. Only one of the assignments (usually primary) at a time will be eligible for benefits withholding.

We've also updated the Eligibility Profiles to look at the Primary Assignment and not all assignments and have changed any flags to ensure that the Primary Assignment is the benefits eligible assignment.

However, when Benefits is processed and the employee is enrolled in the Benefits plan, the deduction amount is still withheld from both assignments. In our case a partial amount is withheld from each.assignment and the combined amount is approximately the total amount of the benefit contribution.

Howdy, Stranger!
