I have fielded several queries on this topic in recent times as have my colleagues. I thought it might help to provide some bit of information on what validations you need to watch out for with respect to these attributes when processing requisitions through integration services such as FBDI or PRWS (Import or Web Services) or even REST Services.

Simple Tips to note about Requesters and Preparers:

1. The requester and / or preparer must be an active user with a primary work assignment
