In our current ATS Taleo, we can create our own custom Rejected end statuses (eg No Show), and when a job is filled, if the candidate is on one of these, they won't move to the standard end status.

However the inability to do this in OR, means that all candidates will go to the generic 'Rejected By Employer' state when the req is filled. Meaning our reporting will be wrong and correspondences will need to be more generic. We want to keep candidates on our custom end states so we can report on all candidates and the appropriate email is sent even after the req is filled.
