Proration of pretax deduction percentage base

Hi Payroll Associates,
Looking for solution on how to prorate a pretax deduction percentage base when the bargaining unit changes during a pay period.
Ex: 6/6/21 to 6/19/21 pay: change from bargaining unit A to bargaining unit B as of June 12th. We need both union dues deduction taken for 1 week. The union dues for A = 2% of salary and B=3%.
- We have tried ending assignment and adding a new assignment, but that does not work because the end date is 1 day after the last day.
- Trying to customize the fast formula but not getting the expected results.
Any suggestions/help is appreciated.
