I wanted to share a quick tip I received from approval experts internally for the following query:

Customer Issue:

The customer does not wish to carry lines on a requisition each of which references a different destination type. As you know, we don't restrict this through any other process. So we offered this guidance to customers who had asked us for a way to prevent a single requisition from containing lines with different destination types. 

Solution Option:

One option that was offered to these customers after internal discussions (and was accepted in these cases by those customers) was to frame an approval rule that  would reject requisitions meeting that criteria.
