Oracle Benefits Needing Validation
Summary
Employee is transferred from one hospital to another hospital effective 8/1/21. Want Oracle benefits analyst to verify that the benefits stopped and restarted appropriately.Content
HI Team,
The person in question is transferring from our Hospital 1 to hospital 2 (Legal Employer is same). The legal employer is not changing, just the location, manager and position code, etc.
Hospital 1has its own separate union and there is a bug with the current release of Oracle's global transfer quick action that won't let us remove the Hospital 1 union information (bargaining unit, etc.) during the transfer. We then receive an error message when Oracle detects that the bargaining unit doesn't match the new location. To work around that I simply changed the position code so the union information got set properly and then performed the local transfer one day after that effective date.
