API or SQL Query for generating the approval hierarchy of a purchase requisition

Hi,

I'm looking for an API or SQL query that would be able to give me the approval hierarchy that will be used by a purchase requisition, but without creating that requisition.

Through informed values, the search for which approval rules this request is part of would be made, and then, the approvers would be searched using the actions defined in the rules.

Does anyone have an idea how I can accomplish this?
