We tried to do an override on a single benefit for a specific individual and need help in understanding the dates. There is an override through date and a rate end date. What is the difference?

The override through date auto-populates to 12/31/4712, but with Open Enrollment around the corner, will this impact the benefit not obtaining the new rates?

When we change the override through date to the end of the current rate, it created a bunch of retros on the payroll side and removed some rates all together.

Is there a best practice or definition in Oracle documentation that details what the rate end date and override through dates should be set to?
