Is it possible to add additional information to BPM tasks?

Client is interested in adding additional information to the BPM task to make it more useful. Instead of Approve Requisition R192785, can it also include information like the supplier name, amount, etc.? If this is possible, can anyone point to documentation on how to set it up? Thanks!
