How to not allow one balancing segment to be used for subledgers and only use for GL?

I have a scenario where - the Client has

Ledger - USD Ledger

Legal Entity - LE1

Business Unit - BU1

2 Balancing segments - 101 and 102

For the balancing segment 101, they need the subledgers but for balancing segment 102, they donot need the subledgers. So, for the subledgers AP, AR the user should be able to use 101 and should not be able to use 102.

How can the above scenario be configured and achieved. Anyone aware of any oracle document explaining such scenarios, please?
