Absence Management - OTL integration issue


Dear experts,

There is a need to have Absence Management integration with Time and Labor.
But almost all absence types are calculated in either working day or in calendar days.
So it's impossible to show them in time cards, but the customer wants that at least won't be possible to enter double time (absence and regular for the same days).

Is it possible to check it somehow with rules/fast formulas/etc?
I appreciate any input.
