Can we post charges for an Asset which has location type as inventory?

Summary:

Hi Team,

We have requirement where the enterprise does the repair/upgrade of its own asset before selling to the customers.

Content (required):

We were planning to use B2B service requests> Generic Work Order for such assets and for those assets we can put customers as internal (enterprise) only so that we can add this asset in SR.

But while posting the charges from service logistics we are getting the attached error.

Please clarify on below points:

  1. This is a feasible solution?
  2. Can we post changes for a Generic Work Order?
