Is it possible to end a benefit relationship that was not closed at the point of termination?

Summary:

We have a number of employees who do not appear to have had their benefit relationship ended when they were terminated. This means that when we run a life event for new benefits, these people appear on the error report with the following messages

"Active Assignment not Found for person 300000004830021Benefit Relation 12076"

"The person currently in process has no potential life event."

We think we have fixed this going forward but is there a way to retrospectively close these benefit relationships?
