If an organization implements Financials prior to implementing CDM, can they access Customer Profile Data from CDM once it is implemented?

Is there a backend connection or common storage between Accounts Receivable Customers Profile Data and CDM? Once CDM is set up, will the customer hierarchy and profiles automatically show up in Oracle CDM product? Customer data was loaded through FBDI.
