Summary:

Total Compensation Statement period is equal to the calendar year and employee resigned and was rehired within the same calendar year

Content (required):

How do I assign the most current employment assignment information to a compensation item if an employee has been rehired? Sample employee resigned in March of 2021 and was rehired in October 2021. Total Compensation Statement period is defined to be in line with calendar year (Jan 1 to Dec 31). I would like to report on the payroll balances for the rehire from October on.

I find if I select any of the period to date dimension options the statements only consider the active assignment at the start of the Total Comp Statement period (i.e. January to March), and does not include values from the rehire period October to December. If I select source types with the dimension year to date then the system picks up the full balances for the entire year (both January to March AND the rehire period October to December).

Howdy, Stranger!
