Why does my scheduled report return different numbers than if I run the same report run manually?

I have a report that counts the number of Incidents created per product for the previous business day. The report is scheduled to run at 6:00 am every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and is sent to my email inbox. So far the report is delivered but the numbers are incorrect. The totals are (almost) double the correct totals, and it delivers the SAME numbers every day, the report is not advancing to the next business day. If I run the report manually, using the same Search parameters, I get the correct totals. Anyone have any clues as to why
