Summary: Can categories be excluded from search results?


Content (required): I came to understand that if a product or category contains the same text as a search term...Answers from that product or category will be returned in the search results...even though the Answers themselves don't contain the search term. (https://cx.rightnow.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1154/kw/exclude%20categories%20from%20search)

My question is, is it possible to exclude product and category from being searched?
