New interview not seeding in logged in user's contact information

Interview is not using logged in contact ID to load contact details.

We have this interview that is using a custom version of OPA widget 1.2. The interview used to work before, but now it fails to load the interview and the logged in user's contact details.

In troubleshooting, I've determined that the line below (from the snippet / widget) is where it is failing.

$this->data['starturl'] = getOPAURL($profile, $baseurl, $this->data['attrs']['policy_model'], $this->data['attrs']['locale'], $initID, $this->data['attrs']['seed_data'], null, $secret); --> which is failing because of the line of code below.
