Do Onboarding Journey Tasks all launch at the same time?

Summary:

Currently, we are on Checklists. We have not moved to Journeys yet ... we are close but not yet. But, unless I am missing something, it seems like if we flip our current Onboarding Checklists to Journeys, tasks will launch all at once instead of in chucks, like today. Is that correct or am I missing something???

Content (required):

For example, today we have an Enterprise Onboarding Checklist with Pre-Hire and After-Start Enterprise Onboarding Step Checklists. The Pre-Hire launches from the Move-to-HR action, in ORC, and the After-Start launches on the candidate’s start date. Yet, it seems like if we were to move that Checklist to Journeys and leave it as is, all tasks, Pre-Hire and After-Start would launch and be visible to the candidate as soon as they become a pending worker.
