Performance Document not populated with Goals

Performance Document not populated with Goals even if the set up seems correct.

We're struggling to find what's wrong with our Performance Document that doesn't get populated with Goals from Goal Plan. More in depth:

1. We have created a Goal Plan on a Review Period. The Goal Plan is associated with the same Document Type of the Performance Template.
2. The Performance Template does include the section to evaluate Goals, the Document type underlying the template is the one already associated to the Goal Plan and the Document Period is linked to the same Review Period of the Goal Plan
