How to link Return Asset with Replaced Asset in Installed Base Asset?
We have business scenario where Customer returns the defect item and expecting a replacement for it.
So if we do the below steps something is not expected.
- Original Order Created
- IB Asset Created
- Warranty Subscription Created
- Referenced RMA Order Created + Added new line for Replaced Item
- After Receiving Item, IB details are updated like:
- Customer Details are removed and Inventory location updated
- Customer Asset End Dated
- Covered Level on Subscription are end dated
- Replaced Item created a stand alone IB Asset and Warranty Subscription
My doubt is how do we link the Return Asset and Replaced Item?
