Can OIA dynamically show either Next or Submit button on a screen?

Can OIA dynamically show either Next or Submit button on a screen?

We have a requirement to show either the Next or Submit button on various screens depending on the selection made in a Boolean checkbox. Can this be done in OIA? Simply relabeling the button dynamically with a Rule does not work as the two buttons are invoking different events in the OIC connector. Next button should invoke Set a Checkpoint, while Submit should invoke Save and then Set Checkpoint.

It doesn't appear to be possible to add both the Submit and Next buttons to a screen and dynamically hide one of them.
